Some of the provinces top senior curlers are facing off this week at the Master mens and womens provincial championships in Midland.
The Midland Curling Club is hosting this years tournament.
The competiton is for men and women 60 years-old and older. Curler’s are reprsenting more than 100 communities across the province.
Anne Dunn is a four time National and World champion, but that’s not why she curls.
“The group of ladies I’m curling with now are just so much fun, we just love it lose or draw,” said Dunn.
Richard Bachand has suffered some heartbreaking loses over the years and is here to win.
“I remember it and it’s a lesson learned,” he said.
Matches are held daily with the finals on Saturday.
The winners will go on to the national seniors championship which will be held in Nova Scotia in April.
