The Annual General Meeting of Community Links was held Friday June 2 at the Chocolate Lake Hotel in Halifax. Members heard an initial address from Simon d’Entremont, deputy minister of the Department of Seniors. Afterwards they discussed with other members at their tables, the public perception of seniors and reported their findings to the group at large. A panel discussion followed on some seniors programs. This was the 25 anniversary of Community Links. Members were treated to a slide show of photos from throughout the organization’s history.
