Vice-President: Bill Poole
District 3 Annapolis/Kings
Born in Montreal, Bill Poole joined the Navy in 1959 and eventually attained the rank of Commander before retiring in 1995. After moving to Scots Bay in the same year, Bill volunteered as Chairman of the Community Association before accepting the position of Treasurer in 2001, a position he still holds. As well, Bill still volunteers at the Evergreen School for Special Care.
In 2008, Bill obtained a provincial grant for senior’s programs and volunteered as the chairman of the Scots Bay Seniors sub-committee. After attending the Community Links People’s school in Kingston in March, 2009, Bill was asked to consider being nominated as a board member. He accepted the offer at the AGM later that year.
